OTC PROJECT

OTC project allows members and registering brokers to register OTC transactions on a specific CDM or JI project. When selecting the instrument (BNS CER, BNS GREEN CER, BNS CER Large Hydro, BNS ERU, BNS ERU Large Hydro) in the OTC interface, it is possible to enter a project number. The number is composed as follows:

• A 'Country Code' field: the country code refers to the country who is hosting the project. For example: IN for India, CN for China...
• A 'Project ID' field: the ID project is the number assigned to each project by registries. BlueNext uses UNFCCC's IDs ('Ref' for CDM projects and 'ITL project ID' for JI projects). For example:
  
  
  • The CDM project ID for IN-1 is 1,
  • The JI project ID for NZ1000001 is 1000001, for JI project UA2000001 it is 2000001.

It is only possible to register OTC transactions on projects that belong to the BlueNext white lists in the publication section.
