THE SAFE HARBOUR INITIATIVE

The Carbon Market has been hit hard over the last two years by organized crime. This has resulted in:

•  The suspension of registries and the cessation of spot market trading
•  Loss of confidence in the integrity and security of the market
•  Subsequent lack of price discovery

It’s clear that all members of the Exchange want to remove fraud from the market place.

Bluenext and its members will create a significant barrier to current and future fraud by the creation of a separate trading venue consisting solely of permits that have been verified back to their source.

This requires:

•  Read-Only Access of a members operator allowance account.
•  Verification of the chain of rightful title of ownership
